Osaka Metro Rebrand
Faced with a confusing and cluttered metro map, lack of clear color coding, inconsistent branding, and an outdated app and metro card system that made navigation difficult—particularly for tourists—the Osaka metro system required a comprehensive overhaul. We developed a new logo and cohesive branding system to establish a strong visual identity, which was then applied to a redesigned metro map featuring a simplified layout and intuitive navigation. This refreshed branding extended to marketing materials, effectively promoting Osaka's key landmarks with consistency and clarity, and was integrated into the updated app and metro card system to enhance functionality and improve the overall user experience.
